Do you have a startup idea and want to find out if it really has potential? Then bring it to the bootcamp! The first session of the BRIDGE workshop series will take place at our Hub and is your gateway to Bremen’s startup ecosystem.

This four-part workshop series guides you from the initial problem definition all the way to a compelling pitch. The focus is on actively working on your own idea: you’ll apply methods directly, receive honest feedback, and continuously refine your project.

The program is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs with a concrete idea and is conducted in German. Space is limited. In addition to the content-focused sessions, there will be opportunities for discussion and networking with other participants, as well as visits to key locations in Bremen’s startup scene.

Program Overview

1. Problem & Purpose (May 5, 2026 | DIGITAL HUB INDUSTRY)
The best startups don’t start with a solution, but with a real problem.

You’ll deepen your understanding of the problem behind your idea, assess how relevant and urgent that problem really is, develop a clear purpose, and articulate the value your idea offers. You’ll also tailor your startup idea to focus specifically on impact and your target audience.

2. Business Model & Market (May 12, 2026 | hoi startup factory)
How does a good idea become a viable business model – and for whom, exactly?

You will develop an initial viable business model for your idea, understand how and for whom your startup creates value, analyze your target audience and market potential, and examine the competition and your positioning.

3. Finance & Law (May 19, 2026 | BAB LAB)
How do you build a financially sound foundation for your startup – and what legal considerations do you need to keep in mind from the very beginning?

You will develop a basic understanding of the financial requirements of your idea, create a simple initial financial plan including a profit and loss statement and a cash flow statement, and learn to make key assumptions about revenue, costs, and capital needs. You will also gain an understanding of the most important legal structures for startups and how they differ, and receive an overview of intellectual property protection and key contracts in the early stages.

4. Team Resilience & Pitch (May 26, 2026 | Sparkasse Campus Space)
How do you work together successfully as a team – and how do you present your idea in a compelling way?
