The “Autonomous Systems Meetup” brings together people who are working on autonomous technologies, conducting research or looking for new perspectives. The focus is on open exchange: about ideas, challenges and specific projects — across disciplines and organizations.
The meetup takes place quarterly and is designed for students, researchers, industry experts, users, and anyone interested in robotics, AI or intelligent systems. Each edition starts with a practical keynote on current technologies, research findings or challenges in the development of autonomous systems. Afterwards, there is time for open conversation — over pizza and drinks. The community explores together how autonomous technologies are changing our world — from mobility and space travel to maritime applications.
What makes this meetup special? It’s not just about giving presentations, but about real discussions. Organized by TOPAS Industriemathematik — the transfer center for optimized, assisted, highly automated and autonomous systems — this meeting creates space for spontaneous conversations, new impulses and potential collaborations. Whether you want to showcase your own projects or simply find out what others in Bremen are working on in the field of autonomous systems: Come along and get on board.
