Whether you like to develop concepts, design, or program - if you are interested in AI, our AI hackathon is just right for you. Develop ideas, build, play, hack, share, learn and have fun!
It’s not about creating finished products, but about sharing your ideas with other participants, building inspiring hacks, learning from each other and simply having fun. Our goal at the AI Hackathon is to bring together creative minds and different skills.
We want to see how you develop new ideas and how the joy of working with technology is reflected in your presentations and pitches at the end of the hackathon. So if you feel up to the challenge and are interested in AI, bring your skills to the event and work on something cool.
Why an AI hackathon?
Whether at home or at work, there is a great need to speed up time-consuming tasks and automate processes. Either to have more free time for other activities or to compensate for a lack of resources, particularly in view of the increasing shortage of skilled workers. Artificial intelligence is on demand as a possible solution or support.
At the AI Hackathon, companies have the opportunity to explore current challenges together with IT-savvy participants and develop creative and exciting implementation ideas for networked products, apps, and services.
The AI Hackathon 2024 is a cooperation between DOCK ONE (Lenze & encoway innovation lab) and the DIGITAL HUB INDUSTRY.

What to expect at the AI Hackathon
Location + Catering
The hackathon will take place on the premises of the DIGITAL HUB INDUSTRY and DOCK ONE. Here you have the opportunity to develop and implement your ideas. During the entire event you will receive breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a place to sleep + hygienic facilities.
Prize money for prototypes
The focus is on B2B applications. Participants can choose from a wide range of gadgets, such as 3D printers, Raspberry PI, beacons or Kinect, are available to the participants, which they can use to develop their prototypes. Here they have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in areas such as Cloud, Mobile, Design or IoT to the public and the jury and win attractive prizes.
Networking and lots of fun!
For us, it’s not just about creativity and challenges. The AI Hackathon also seeks to bring together AI enthusiasts from a wide range of fields and work together on problems. Interesting exchanges and networking are a top priority.
Accommodation options
You have the opportunity to stay overnight with us at the DIGITAL HUB INDUSTRY. This way you can get to know each other even better and develop your ideas further. If you decide to do this, you only need to bring a sleeping bag and an air mattress, hygiene measures and everything else is taken care of.
You can also sleep at home or at a friend’s house. If you are coming from further away and are still looking for a place to stay, but would prefer to sleep in a hotel or similar, you can of course also look for a room for the weekend. The DIGITAL HUB INDUSTRY is also easy to reach by public transport.
