At Demo Day, students from the University of Bremen will provide insights into projects they collaborated on with companies during the summer semester. They will present concepts, business models, and solutions based on specific business challenges.
Students from the Chair of SMEs, Start-ups & Entrepreneurship (LEMEX) are presenting the results of their work from the project module “future concepts bremen – innovative practical projects.” They have addressed real-world challenges posed by companies and organizations and developed concepts, business models, and solutions based on their findings.
This is a great opportunity for you to meet young talent, engage with current issues in Bremen’s business community, and connect with startups, companies, and innovators. The projects showcase what’s currently being worked on in Bremen: business succession, space tech, AI-powered engineering processes, cybersecurity, and digital mobility solutions.
The internship partners for the summer semester of 2026:
- selvendo – A startup specializing in business succession and M&A (mergers and acquisitions). Through an AI-powered platform, the company provides structured support to small and medium-sized businesses during the sale process and connects them with suitable prospective buyers.
- Akilaris – The Bremen-based space tech startup from ESA BIC Northern Germany is developing a space intelligence platform for autonomous collision avoidance in Earth orbit and supports satellite operators with real-time data and automated maneuver planning.
- Finite Air – Develops an AI-based engineering platform for the technical development of drones and other complex systems to make development processes more efficient.
- Liontech Instruments – This startup from the ESA BIC ecosystem develops hardware-based cybersecurity solutions to protect critical infrastructure and strengthen technological sovereignty.
- Tönnjes International Group – A leading provider of vehicle identification systems that develops secure and efficient mobility solutions using smart license plates, RFID technology, and digital management processes.
