The fifth Forum Industriemathematik (FIM) focuses on space travel this year: satellite data, constellations, trajectories – and the mathematical methods behind them.
Once a year, FIM brings together industry and research: through keynotes, workshops, and direct dialogue, it explores concrete applications of industrial-mathematics methods – with a focus on real challenges and shared solutions rather than theory.
This September’s program covers:
- use cases for satellite data – added value beyond downstream
- designing, building and operating optimal satellite constellations
- calculating optimal trajectories – state of the art and beyond
Featuring contributions from Bremen’s Senator for Economic Affairs Kristina Vogt, Bremen’s State Coordinator for Space Siegfried Monser, ArianeGroup, Polaris Raumflugzeuge, TOPAS Industriemathematik Innovation, ZeTeM – Center for Industrial Mathematics at the University of Bremen, and more.
