This interactive startup training program is designed specifically for international entrepreneurs and aspiring founders in Bremen. Whether you’re new to entrepreneurship or already working on your first business idea, the program will provide you with the tools, contacts, and next steps you need to get started.
This program is ideal for international professionals looking to transition from employment to self-employment, for immigrants and expats exploring business opportunities in Germany, and for international students with their own business ideas. PhD students, researchers with commercializable research, skilled migrants, and anyone with an interest in entrepreneurship are also welcome. No prior experience is required.
You’ll learn about business development, the creation of solid business models, insights from founders in Germany, legal and financial basics, and funding and financing opportunities in Bremen and across Germany. You’ll also get to know the local startup ecosystem – including its networks, incubators, and support services – and take away concrete next steps for your own startup journey.
The whole program is interactive, on-site in Bremen and completely free of charge. This is made possible by the collaboration between Startup Migrants, BRIDGE, Hilfswerft, LEMEX, the University of Bremen and the German Postcode Lottery.
